Part 1: Inquiry

Learn precise language patterns to get information quickly and to enhance your impact on others!

Even in the area of education for helping professionals, very little is taught about interviewing for specific information. Since professionals in many fields are often taught to deal with theoretical and concepts and are generally more comfortable with this type of abstract thinking, they often skip over or filter out important information a person is giving them during a conversation or interview.

We will also introduce you to a set of tools called, "Influential Language Skills" that you can use in a huge variety of contexts. Also called, "Conversational Hypnosis," these language patterns make anything you are trying to get across to another individual easier to package in a communication that they will understand and accept.

This 2-day workshop will help you develop what is often the "weak suit" for professional helpers, teachers, coaches, therapists, counselors, parents and others. That is, getting precise and specific answers during information gathering, while still maintaining rapport with the person.

Students will learn: 

• A completely different way to interview a person
• New language distinctions and information-gathering skills
• How to get information for forms and questionnaires more quickly
• Specific techniques to help you change your thinking and behavior to develop greater flexibility in your functioning
• Improve your goal-setting and goal-achieving capabilities
• Learn the art of influential language in conversation
• Learn how to get your questions answered, and how to make it abundantly obvious when the client does not wish to answer them
• Uncover specific and targeted information more easily and quickly

Part 2: Influence - Introduction to Creative Influence

Combine the techniques of basic hypnosis and conversational hypnosis to immediately help others shift out of being stuck in a problem - as soon as you start a conversation!

Some people have what seems to be a natural ability to help you feel better whenever you talk over problems with them. The goal of this training is to help you improve your ability to influence others in positive ways through deliberate and strategic use of hypnotic language. You will explore how to immediately help others as soon as you start a conversation. You will also learn methods for suggesting future possibilities that will help them continue to make changes. This segment of the course is a basic introduction to conversational hypnosis and hypnotic language patterns, which can be learned and utilized by anyone. In fact, after taking this segment of the course you will begin to notice how constantly these language patterns are being deliberately used by advertising, governments and politicians, by sales people and others.

Students will learn:

• How to challenge internal, limiting beliefs 
• Learn to make goals seem easier
• Learn to make suggestions and interventions more acceptable
• Support overcoming problems and obstacle
